Pictured: These "babas" (or baba au rhums) will be the hit of your
next party!!!
These mini cocktail size savarins (yeast raised cakes) are
magic!!! Just drop them in a pan of boiling simple
syrup for a few seconds
and watch them expand - just like sponges.
Then immediately remove them with a slotted spoon and place them in
their individual plastic cups and let the fun begin. Douse
them with rum (or other favorite liqueur, coffee,
espresso, or any of our various Dessert Sauces) and
let them soak up the flavor. Top with a dab of whipped
cream/topping (or maybe a tiramisu mousse??) Add a fruit
garnish (or mocha bean)& leave them in their plastic
containers to serve.
Each package contains 36 dehydrated mini babas (savarins) and 36 plastic
cups, just waiting for the magic to happen!
