CHOCOLATE SHIPPING POLICY Perishable Chocolate Items are shipped October to May only. (High temperatures and low stock will dictate cut off time in May.) 1. Anytime the high temperatures reach 62°F to 80° at any point enroute from Indiana to your destination (even during the winter months), please order our Insulated Shipping Package for your chocolate items. Each Insulated Shipping Package (Item #30000) can hold up to 4 chocolate products or 1 case of chocolate cups. Please order the appropriate number of Insulated Shipping Packages to hold all of your ordered chocolate items. (Item #30000 is listed below and within the various Chocolate Product Categories.) Note: Warm weather shipping expenses may be kept to a minimum by ordering more chocolate products at one time (up to 4 chocolate items per Insulated Shipping Package) which helps to defray each item's overall shipping cost. Or, you could combine your order with a family member or friend to reduce the shipping cost to each person. 2. The added weight and size of the Insulated Packing materials (for chocolate items) will also slightly increase the shipping costs. This extra weight is added into the Insulated Shipping Package(s) to calculate the correct shipping cost. 3. When the high temperatures reach 80°F or above, (at any point enroute) contact Customer Service for options. Reminder: It is also necessary to consider the effects of the temperatures and sun on the delivery vehicles. It is not uncommon for the inside tempertures of trucks/vans to rise well above 100°F! 4. High temperatures or special circumstances often dictate that orders containing Chocolate Products need to be shipped via Express Mail. Contact Customer Service by phone for this option. 5. At the other extreme, if temperatures are cooler than forecasted, we will make every effort to ship your Chocolate Items without incurring the extra cost. If you have ordered online and have purchased an Insulated Shipping Package that is not required, we will refund the savings back to you via Paypal. 6. It is ultimately the customer's decision whether or not to purchase our chocolate products during warm weather conditions. Please note that even though we take every precaution, Nifty Foods, LLC d.b.a. Nif-t-Foods Dessert Emporium can not assume any liability in regard to damaged or melted chocolate shipped under adverse conditions. 7.
